MONTHLY STORY — STARTING AUGUST 1, 2026
A kind elderly lady boarded the plane clutching her cat, Garfield. Seeing empty spots in first class, she asked for an upgrade, but the flight attendant claimed they were full. Walking away, she heard a whisper: "I don't want that ole bat and her cat in here." Soon, Garfield was nestled in his carrier under her seat. As she napped, the latch loosened, and sensing a divine appointment, the ginger cat slinked out like an orange shadow.
The peace was shattered when two over-eager terriers in row ten spotted the feline fugitive. Chaos erupted as the dogs lunged, leading a high-speed chase through the legs of startled passengers. Garfield leaped over tray tables and slid under seat cushions while paws scrambled and tails wagged. Every jolt of the chase sent fingers fumbling for help, and soon a chorus of call buttons chimed like a frantic cathedral bell choir.
Amidst the flurry of stray crackers, a quick-witted flight attendant scooped up the orange traveler. To solve the chaos, she ushered the lady and Garfield to the very front. The rude passengers watched in stunned silence as the duo claimed the best seats in the house. Sinking into plush leather with a content purr, Garfield and the lady shared a knowing wink. They got the last laugh, relaxing in first class luxury.
